The shark’s skeleton is made up of cartilage and strong, elastic connective tissue, which consists mainly of macromolecules, calcium, collagen and glycosaminoglycans (complex carbohydrates). These substances are able to penetrate our joints, providing ‘building blocks’ that combat wear and tear. Taking a shark cartilage dietary supplement revitalises the joints; this is because, over the years, whether due to genetics or simply lifestyle, the joints begin to deteriorate. Shark cartilage not only helps to regenerate the joints, but has also been shown to inhibit angiogenesis, thereby reducing the proliferation of blood vessels linked to osteoarthritis and which are, to a large extent, responsible for the pain. This property is due to one of its proteins, which is found in higher concentrations in the skeleton of sharks than in that of mammals.

Directions for use

Take 2 to 3 capsules a day. Store in a cool, dry place.
