What is it and what is it used for?

Plameca Omega 3 60 capsules is a food supplement made from fish oil rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids from the Omega-3 group, mainly EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). These are essential fatty acids: the body cannot produce them itself and must obtain them from food, which is not always possible when consumption of oily fish is low.

EPA and DHA contribute to the normal functioning of the heart; DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision; and both help maintain normal blood triglyceride levels and blood pressure. The soft gelatine capsules protect the oil from oxidation and make them easy to take, with no aftertaste. This pack contains 2 bottles of 60 capsules.

Directions for use

Take the capsules with a glass of water, preferably with meals, as indicated on the packaging. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Composition

Fish oil concentrated in EPA and DHA, antioxidant (vitamin E) and a gelatine and glycerine coating. Please refer to the product label for the exact EPA and DHA content per capsule.

Warnings

Not recommended if you are allergic to fish. Consult a healthcare professional if you are taking anticoagulant medication, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Store in a cool, dry place.
