Betadine Dry Powder Spray is for treatment of skin infections. For prevention of infections in wounds, burns, cuts, scratches and abrasions with germicidal effects. This medicine is used to prevent infection of minor skin injuries. It contains a medicine called povidone-iodine which is an antiseptic that kills germs. This medicine is available as a spray that is applied to the affected areas of the skin.

Direction of Use for Dry Powder Spray

Shake well before use. Spray 6-10 inches away the parts to be treated. A thin layer is formed. If necessary, cover with a dressing. The spray can be applied every 3 - 4 hours.

Ingredients of Dry Powder Spray

Providone-iodine 2.5% w/v.

Contra Indication of Dry Powder Spray

Do not apply this medicine on large areas of broken skin or severe burns. Speak to your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse during treatment with this medicine.
